About The Band

Homemade Wine, the Americana/Trop-Rock creation of six good ol' boys from Knoxville, TN, has been rocking the southeast since 2009. What started as an acoustic trio of brothers Ryan (vocals, guitar) and Tod Sheley (percussion, St. Somewhere), along with high school buddy Matt McSpadden (bass), quickly developed into a wild country jam band with the addition of lead guitarists Andy Westcott and Tommie Eakins, as well as drummer Brad Williams (Jag Star).

Ryan's storytelling lyrical writing style, coupled with Andy's lighting fast country licks and Tommie's soulful blues style, takes you from the backwoods of East Tennessee to the shores of the Gulf Coast (where the boys spent a good bit of time in their first year together). They quickly gained recognition on a local and national level, winning Beachfront Radio's Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Best New Vocalist, and Best Album in 2010 for their debut offering "Music For The Salty Soul". The group was also chosen as runner-up for best band in East Tennessee as selected by readers of the Knoxville News Sentinel in 2010. Having been featured as a headlining act for Southern Living's Taste of Charleston festival (Charleston, SC), Beach House on the Mountain (Stowe, VT), Tropicanaroo (Monticello, IN), Spring Phling (North Wildwood, NJ), TropStock (Cocoa Beach, FL), and Meeting of the Minds (Key West, FL), the group has brought their unique blend of musicianship and mayhem to thousands across the country.
HMW is currently on the road in support of their 2nd album "Barstools, Broken Hearts, and Songs from the Road" which was released to a huge crowd in Key West, FL on Nov 2, 2011. The album is available on iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.
