About The Band

The Downtime Band is a professional dance band in which each member has more than 10 years of performing experience. The band performs for weddings, corporate events and private parties. Being based out of St. Louis, allows them to travel throughout the Midwest very easily. The goal is to provide fun and professional musical entertainment of all genres to all audiences. With the Downtime Band's wide variety of music, high energy, and quality sound, everyone will be sure to have a great time.

The variety of their comprehensive song list allows us to satisfy any audience. The band is willing to learn, rehearse and perform up to 2 songs that can be included throughout the special night (such as the bride/groom first dance, father-daughter dance, etc.). Music will be provided during all band breaks to ensure continuous listening pleasure. The break music list can be collaboratively decided upon to supply the desired blend of musical diversity that best fits the special event. The band also offers a continuous band option where the band does not take a break. This can be requested for an additional cost. Emceeing adaptations will be made at the client's discretion, as well as band size, instrumentation and acoustical levels to accommodate any facility. The group's standard attire is a formal tuxedo for weddings and corporate parties, but casual wear is also available upon request. With the vast selection of options, the Downtime Band guarantees complete satisfaction.

The Downtime Band offers many different options for the variety band. Alterations to any of the following groups can be made to best fit any wedding reception or event.

* Standard 6 Piece Group (Male & Female Vocals, Keyboard, Guitar, Bass, Drums)
* 7 Piece Group (Standard Group Plus Saxophone)
* 8 Piece Group (Standard Group Plus Saxophone & Trumpet)
* Additional Female Vocalist can be added to any size group

Downtime was a class act from the time we first called them to see if they would be willing to travel to MN. Their performance was the highlight of our daughter's wedding. Our guests loved them and the band's interaction with them was so fun. We hope to book them for our son's weddings (when they happen).

Downtime was the BEST wedding decision I made! They can play just about anything and if they don't know it, they can learn it! We asked them to learn our first dance song and during the dance, my husband asked "Is this the recording??" - they did such a fantastic job learning the song that it sounded just like the artist! PHENOMENAL! Jon was a treat to work with. He was always following up on emails and any questions I had - perfect to work with during all the crazy wedding planning. Money well spent!

Downtime did an amazing job and I couldn't have asked for anything to happen differently. Thank you so much for making my night memorable and fun. I know you are not based out of Kansas City but I will definitely be recommending you for future celebrations. Thank you for everything again, my night would not have been the same without you.

Downtime, thank you all SO much for a great time last night. Everyone that we talked to were so impressed by the music! I heard comments like "Best wedding band ever!" and "Absolutely a perfect group!" Thank you, thank you, thank you, for making our wedding absolutely perfect!

A long overdue Thanks for the WONDERFUL JOB you all did at Maria & Tommy's Wedding. Family & friends are still talking about the Great Band we had. I've never seen a dance floor fill so quickly as it did when you played the 1st song that night. The full dance floor all night long showed how much everyone loved you. Everyone had such a magnificent time and most of that is contributed to the music. Thanks for your outstanding talent and your ability to facilitate such a Wonderful Reception. We hope to cross paths with you again in the future.
Thanks again, Mary Clare Rozier (Mother of Bride)
